All the art of living lies in a fine mingling of letting go and holding on. –Henry Ellis
I sprained my ankle last December 30, 2011 and it still hurts. I had it treated with the traditional manghihilot last week and unfortunately nothing happened. My co-worker suggested this:

I will definitely try this at home. He said, he sprained his ankle 3 times already and this is the only thing he does. Coming from a dude who plays basketball, I’m confident it’ll cure my aching foot.
Our family is all about love, love, love and fun, fun, fun! That’s why on every photo session, wacky poses is a must. We had our family pictorial before my two sisters left the country. Minsan lang to kompleto kami, because it’s seldom that they’re both here in the Philippines at the same time. Love my sisters, love my family!

We had the kiddo’s birthday party at school last Monday. It was the day before her real birthday and we had to have it last 16th because we were at the airport yesterday. MIL and BIL left for the States already. It was sad. Yup I saw tears from SIL. I hope they’d visit us soon.
Anyway, we had a simple salo-salo–spag from Mcdo and Mamon from Red Ribbon. Kiddo was so happy that day.

Haven’t had any jam sessions yet. Well, I haven’t called in the guys yet ever since the battle of the bands finished few months ago. It’s just not the same without the guys (Marry Me Amy). It’s never complete without them. I just jam with my other friends, but it’s just not the same. Our gear is still at my parent’s house and my guitar inside the closet. Imaging that—inside the closet. I don’t have plans to stop playing music and I don’t know why I don’t have the courage to start a new band. Hayst. It’s complicated I guess.
Anyway, I’ve been planning to change strings on my P.bass because I finally got the neon DR strings from sister S. And I seriously want a decent microphone. Vintage style like the mxl 990. I haven’t used one yet but my dad said, it was amazing. I wonder how the gear really sounded like during his time…

We were very early at Ocean Adventure in Subic yesterday. It was my first time there and the kiddo’s second time. We watched the Sea Lion and the Dolphin show. Plus we took pictures with the Dolphin and got to hold one too.
I was a hot day and too bad I wore pants instead of shorts. Laundry was done on-time because we were all at the wedding.

~ She named the pink stuffed toy dolphin–SAM ~
*Named after one of the dolphins from the show.
We had lunch at Xtremely Xpresso Cafe. Nachos, big Ben’s pizza and yummy lasagna was the perfect combo. Then off to Zoobic safari next…

~ Animal Parade ~
It was my second time there and I must say, the place improved. They have the animal parade which was not there before. Good thing the weather was nice and we had the chance to visit all the sites.
Then had dinner at Gerry’s grill (Subic). Kiddo was pretty much grumpy at dinner time because it was obvious that she’s already tired. Everybody was.
It was a ‘Family day Fun day’ =)
It was my sister’s wedding yesterday and I must say–everything went well! Thank you GOD. Huge kudos to my sister A, the eldest, who made this possible. Planning, appointments, suppliers, etc. Thank you also to the on-site coordinators. We really had a blast at the reception.

Papsie still denies that he cried on the way to the altar at the church, but this shot says everything hahaha.
Anyway, 2 of my sisters will be staying in the country until the 12th and after that, it’s back to work for them (and for us too) abroad.
