One of things I hate the most is weekend shifts. So I kept myself busy by browsing the Internet hahaha. So found this awesome article about–Heavy Metal Rockers Before They Were Stars. It’s so cool to see their faces before they were stars! I can’t even recognize them from then and now. Anyway, one of my favorite photo is Kirk Hammett from Metallica. Last Thursday we watched SPIRIT OF 67 from one their Fund raising gigs. This time it was from a benefit concert for the restoration of Malate Catholic Church last Nov. 17, 2011. Personally like this group not because they are good, but because they are really really good and we personally know Tony Sabalsa, one of the lead vocalist. I once joined Tony and his group (previous group) when I was in college and we usually play at the Dungeon bar in Camelot Hotel, QC. I was their bassist and I can still remember clearly all those Friday nights in the hotel bar playing awesome music to people and celebrities (yeah I saw a couple). It was quite an experience for a graduating student (back then).

Another cool part during that night was I get to meet CHARLIE, formerly with the band “THE BREED”. He used to be a rocker! BIL can’t believe his eye but it’s true. Anyway, he’s very approachable, friendly and still handsome! *ehem*

Ranked 2nd place from the Battle of the Bands last Saturday was not bad at all. Pictures are piling up on facebook already. Thanks to all who took and uploaded pictures and videos of us. Rock n’ Roll!

Battle of the Bands @ Puti bar later tonight. Can’t wait to rock the night away with my friends at work. I’m sure everybody will have a blast!

I realized I need to get new strings for my guitar and so it’s time… And I did it all by myself. Yey! I still need to test this and unfortunately, I don’t have the amp with me haha.
