I can’t imagine what life was back then, when there was no cellphone, Internet and laptops. I even think how me and my friends go out without sending each other text messages. Now I can do everything with one laptop and decent Internet connection. Can you believe my mom ordered a console table online? LOL. All my made up excuses for her not to go to the mall vanished when the table was delivered last weekend. And this coming Holiday season, she plans to order photo christmas cards online because it’s less hassle and thoughtful. Technology is really improving. I wonder what’s in store for us in the few years.
Life consists not in holding good cards but in playing those you hold well.

All the major works are already done and I think we are on 80% done with the house. Window blinds just arrived and we’ll replace the curtains probably this weekend. The extra boxes were all sorted out and the mini-gym is already there so that means the living room looked even more like a ‘living room’ rather than a gym. My mom also plans to add a console table but I said, not yet because we still need to clear the treadmill and some stuff. But all the details, from the shower curtains to the bath faucet are all okay. House blessing is due sometime in July and we’re all excited to have friends over.

My sister is planning to get an iMac as part of the home PC project that she wanted to give at home. And I think that’s super AWESOME! Being the one at home, makes me the lucky one of course. Plus I can do my dream music projects at last. For years, I’ve been dying to make music but my current laptop just won’t let me. Hubby and I are planning to sell it to refurbished laptops shops so we can at least get money out of it. But of course, I can’t do that. Not until the iMac arrives hahaha! Or probably get a new laptop? Checking budget….
In three words I can sum up everything I’ve learned about life: it goes on.

My sister’s getting married! And this is gonna be a different wedding because they plan to have it out-of-town, in a resort with great food and booze. We already know the theme of the occasion and I visualize myself in a nice dress with a killer red shoes. Anyway, most of the important things are already been done and I’m trying to her my sister book a photographer. Good thing my friend’s brother is photographer and I’m still coordinating with the quotes and packages. He agreed that he will not charge us the out-of-town extra charges but just give gas money. I wonder if they have photographer insurance since this is out of town. Anyway, I’m hoping he’ll give a nice budget-wise package and I’m waiting for his reply right now. Let’s see.
Happy Birthday sister M. Enjoy your day. And your new ipad! =)
Love.
