Any idiot can face a crisis – it’s day to day living that wears you out. –Anton Chekhov
I know I’m super left out when it comes to movies. It’s been awhile since I’ve gone out to watch a movie in the mall and barely watch TV too. I know missing a lot–and I mean a lot. So I thought, I will just download those movies myself. But then out Internet connected got busted and I’m down to slower than a dial-up, 3G connection. Poor me.
So I’ve decided to get those discount dvds in the mall. I’ll probably prepare a cabinet so I can have my own collection of movies. Can’t wait.
All the art of living lies in a fine mingling of letting go and holding on. –Henry Ellis
I sprained my ankle last December 30, 2011 and it still hurts. I had it treated with the traditional manghihilot last week and unfortunately nothing happened. My co-worker suggested this:

I will definitely try this at home. He said, he sprained his ankle 3 times already and this is the only thing he does. Coming from a dude who plays basketball, I’m confident it’ll cure my aching foot.
I can only wear boots during rainy season (because of my rain boots) and during gigs. And since we don’t get much gig nowadays, I’m down to wearing them at work. I remembered hubby’s western boots and he actually wore them in one of the costume’s party we attended many years ago. I can still remember how funny he looked but it was really okay because it was a costume party. Anyway, I prefer comfy shoes now because of my sprained ankle.
Our family is all about love, love, love and fun, fun, fun! That’s why on every photo session, wacky poses is a must. We had our family pictorial before my two sisters left the country. Minsan lang to kompleto kami, because it’s seldom that they’re both here in the Philippines at the same time. Love my sisters, love my family!

We had the kiddo’s birthday party at school last Monday. It was the day before her real birthday and we had to have it last 16th because we were at the airport yesterday. MIL and BIL left for the States already. It was sad. Yup I saw tears from SIL. I hope they’d visit us soon.
Anyway, we had a simple salo-salo–spag from Mcdo and Mamon from Red Ribbon. Kiddo was so happy that day.

Haven’t had any jam sessions yet. Well, I haven’t called in the guys yet ever since the battle of the bands finished few months ago. It’s just not the same without the guys (Marry Me Amy). It’s never complete without them. I just jam with my other friends, but it’s just not the same. Our gear is still at my parent’s house and my guitar inside the closet. Imaging that—inside the closet. I don’t have plans to stop playing music and I don’t know why I don’t have the courage to start a new band. Hayst. It’s complicated I guess.
Anyway, I’ve been planning to change strings on my P.bass because I finally got the neon DR strings from sister S. And I seriously want a decent microphone. Vintage style like the mxl 990. I haven’t used one yet but my dad said, it was amazing. I wonder how the gear really sounded like during his time…
