After a long stressful week from work, I could really use a day in the spa. I know everybody needs to relax and unwind. I envy those who have the luxury of time to go out and take a vacation somewhere peaceful. But I think a spa-home will do for me now. I remember I saw a mini-spa complete with spa cover at Fort Wilhelmina. Told my sister that I was dying to try it out. Unfortunately, we don’t have enough time. But she promised me that she’d help me use it when we come back. Arggh… can’t wait.

We blessed to have a couple gigs this month and I’m trying to learn how to put make-up on my own so I won’t call my sister every time we have gigs to attend to. So I recently bought two shades of lipsticks (red and nude), beige nude foundation, full volume waterproof mascara, hair  clips and a set of expensive brush applicator. Yeah, I said expensive so it’s an investment. But I think I forgot to buy make-up remover because I had a hard time removing my make-up the other night. And I think the mascara stayed overnight. Something tells me I need to invest on moisturizers, eye wrinkle cream and other skin care products too.

Got a text message from my sister early this morning saying that they’ll going to a sale this weekend. A new imported ladies garment store had openend recently and it’s already on sale. They have been for the store to branch out here and it’s all happening this month. I think they printed out coupons from the website so they can have more discounts. But unfortunately, I don’t have the budget and I’m saving up on more important things. Shopping will just have to wait this season. But maybe if I tag along with them, they might buy me something right? hahaha. Good idea.

My sister J send me a message on facebook regarding a cool job in Dubai. Salary and befenits offered are competitve but the competition would be difficult because it’s open for applicants any where in the world tsk. But she posted a good jobsite with it and we might check on it in few days. We might find an opening that would fit the hubby’s requirements. We are definitely crossing our fingers on this. And speaking of jobs abroad, my friend (Flip) is leaving anytime soon to UAE. We are so proud of him. We wish him all the success in his new career. Wag lang makakalimot haha.

Our parents house really improved especially on the interior. My mom really did a great job re-decorating the place. It’s now a place that we can call ‘home’. What I like most is the bedroom. It’s so cozy and quiet. My sister and I joke about the HDTV they have in the bedroom. Since the room is much bigger compared from the previous house, the HDTV now looked small LOL. We’re convincing dad to buy a new one and a bigger one too. He’s thinking of getting 42 I think. But we’ll see. Maybe I should buy a pack of microwavable popcorn because we might see a 42 HDTV there on our next visit hahaha.

It’s always my natures to check reviews of a certain product before I buy them. Like my first digitam camera and I got 4 years old. It’s worth every penny but since I had to upgrade, I had no choice but to let it go. Then I decided to buy a laptop and so checked on the reviews before I purchased one. Lappie’s still working and it’s been helping me with my online tasks. Then my sister S mentioned that she bought a second hand car in Dubai. It’s a little smaller than she previous car. But what’s cool about it is that it has a GPS. I never really touched or even see a GPS before so I cannot really comment on that. So advised her to check on gps reviews online. I know it will really help her especially if the gadger is new to her. I wonder how the GPS works though. I’ve seen many on the tv but I haven’t really tried one before. They say it’s cool though. Maybe I can use one in a couple of years when I go abroad? WISH.

I used to order online from a decent and reliable online store. I remembered I bought my corset there and I get to wear it from one of our band gigs last year. I plan to get some more corset but the other products are tempting. Especially those sexy costumes that they have, it makes me want to order more than I can pay. So I tend to limit my visit and just pick the ones that I really love. Sometimes I’d think it over and over and over if I really need it or just want it. I’m proud to say that I’m really good with balancing my priorities. And for now, I’m happy with the outcome. Priorities first.

I got recieved an email from my sister J i dubai and she plans to join my sister A this December on a bazaar event. My sister A’s been doing the bazaar for the last 3 years and it’s been really inspiring to all of us and I think that made sister J to join. She plans to get wholesale apparel in Dubai and send the box here by November. And that’s when we come in the scene–the manpower. I plan to file vacation leave for a week for I can have full time on the event. That I will try. But for now, we are all very excited on this family business plan. I hope this will be the start of our dream business.

We are finally settled in our new home. I still have a handful of things to do but those are minor stuff now. We still need to install the cabinet on the kitchen wall so the kitchen stuff would have a decent storage. One thing I’m thinking are lanna’s baby clothes. I need more clothes storage for that because lanna has so many of those small stuff. I’m thinking of donating them already. Maybe this Christmas. I think more storage in the house.

I’m still amazed how the radar detector works. I’ve watched a lot of breath taking movies and the technology still amazes me. I remembered the movie, Behind enemy lines, I don’t want that to happen to me. The story is good and the actors are great. It makes me think if those really happen in real life.
